SpaceX successfully launched 24 Starlink broadband satellites into low Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The launch took place at 12:35 p.m. EDT on August 8, 2026, using a Falcon 9 rocket. This mission marks the 92nd Falcon 9 launch of
the year and the 71st dedicated to expanding the Starlink megaconstellation. The rocket's first stage, designated B1093, completed its 16th flight and successfully landed on the droneship 'Of Course I Still Love You' in the Pacific Ocean. The upper stage of the Falcon 9 continued to deploy the satellites approximately 61 minutes after liftoff.
