Americold has inaugurated a new integrated import-export hub at Port Saint John in New Brunswick, Canada. This facility was developed in partnership with DP World and Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC). The hub combines Americold's cold storage operations
with DP World's maritime logistics and CPKC's rail network, creating a streamlined pathway for transporting perishable goods between inland production areas and international markets. The facility is strategically located at one of North America's rapidly expanding trade gateways, designed to facilitate trade flows between Central and Eastern Canada and regions such as Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific. Notably, it is the only temperature-controlled storage solution in Eastern Canada directly connected to a port without requiring drayage, which reduces costs and transit times. The hub offers approximately 22,000 pallet positions and is expected to support up to 100 jobs in New Brunswick.
