What's Happening?
Elucid, a company specializing in AI-powered coronary CT angiography (CCTA) analysis, has initiated the AI-PREDICT study, enrolling its first patient. This international, multicenter study aims to redefine cardiovascular risk stratification by focusing
on individual coronary lesions. The study will involve approximately 1,000 subjects across multiple sites in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Using Elucid’s Plaque-IQ and FFR-CT software, the study will analyze coronary lesions to identify features that distinguish harmful plaques from benign ones. The study is led by prominent cardiovascular scientists and aims to address the limitations of traditional diagnostic methods, which often fail to predict heart attacks caused by asymptomatic plaques.
