What's Happening?
Accor's MGallery Collection has announced two significant developments in Europe. The brand has signed its first hotel in Rhodes, Greece, and opened a new wellness-focused property on France's Atlantic coast. The MGallery Rhodes, an adults-only resort,
is set to open in Spring 2027, featuring 222 guestrooms and suites with private pools. The design draws on the island's medieval heritage and Mediterranean surroundings. In France, the Bel Hotel Oléron Thalasso & Spa has opened, offering 102 rooms with a focus on wellness, including a Spa & Thalasso facility. These developments are part of MGallery's global growth strategy, which now includes over 125 boutique hotels worldwide.
Why It's Important?
The expansion of the MGallery Collection highlights the growing trend in the hospitality industry towards wellness and luxury experiences. By opening new properties in popular tourist destinations like Greece and France, MGallery is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the luxury travel market. The focus on wellness and unique dining experiences, such as those crafted by Michelin-starred chefs, caters to the increasing demand for personalized and high-quality travel experiences. This expansion not only strengthens MGallery's brand presence in Europe but also contributes to the overall growth of the luxury hospitality sector.
