Airkey Envirotech has completed a USP 797 compliant cleanroom for a U.S. pharmacy, designed specifically for sterile compounding. The cleanroom spans approximately 61.5 square meters and features a multi-zone configuration with ISO 7 and ISO 8 classified
areas. This design ensures compliance with USP 797 standards, which govern sterile compounding environments in the U.S. The cleanroom is a free-standing structure, allowing for quick installation without extensive building modifications, and features large windows for visibility and natural light.

The development of this cleanroom underscores the increasing demand for compliance-ready, modular cleanroom solutions in the pharmaceutical industry. As regulations around sterile compounding become more stringent, facilities must adapt to ensure safety and compliance.
