What's Happening?
Nobu Hospitality has announced plans to develop a new hotel, restaurant, villas, and residences at Monte Rei in Portugal's Eastern Algarve. The project, set to begin construction in 2027 with an expected opening in 2029, will be Nobu's second destination
in Portugal. The development will feature 100 rooms and suites, a signature Nobu restaurant, and guest amenities, along with 21,000 square meters of villas and branded residences. This initiative is part of a broader investment program led by Norfin, aiming to enhance hospitality, residential living, and leisure amenities at Monte Rei.
