NFPA Global Solutions, Inc. has been selected by Boise Cascade to provide testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services for its plywood and engineered wood products manufacturing facilities across the United States and Canada. This agreement,
effective October 1, 2026, will involve PFS TECO, an NFPA Global Solutions company, in overseeing quality assurance, inspection, testing, and certification programs. The scope of services covers a broad range of products including plywood, glulam, glulam laminated timber (GLT), laminated veneer lumber (LVL), veneer laminated timber (VLT), and I-joists. The engagement will encompass 13 manufacturing facilities located in Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Oregon, South Carolina, Washington, and New Brunswick, Canada. Boise Cascade, headquartered in Boise, Idaho, is a major U.S. wholesale distributor of building materials and a leading manufacturer of engineered wood products and plywood in North America, operating over 60 facilities and employing more than 7,500 people.
