became fans of the band. Fans are encouraged to record a voice memo detailing their journey into the Grateful Dead fandom and email it to NPR. Selected stories will be featured in an upcoming episode on the NPR Music feed. This initiative aims to explore the enduring appeal of the Grateful Dead and engage with the community of fans who have been influenced by the band's music and culture.
