What's Happening?
AerCap, a leading aircraft leasing company, has finalized a joint venture with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance to lease CFM International Leap engines. This partnership, initially announced at the Paris air show, aims to provide spare
engine support for Leap-powered aircraft. The joint venture will acquire around 40 new Leap-1A and -1B engines, which are used in Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 Max jets, respectively. Deliveries are planned through 2032, with the first engines available to customers by early 2027.
