Winshear Metals has announced successful initial metallurgical test results from its Rodburn Target at the Portsoy Project in north-east Scotland. Conducted by Blue Coast Research, the tests focused on mineralisation samples collected in 2023 and 2024.
The results showed promising copper and nickel recoveries, with copper recoveries between 75-80% and nickel recoveries ranging from 60-65%. The tests produced nickel concentrates with grades between 14% and 16%, containing over 1% cobalt, and copper concentrates with grades around 25%. These results suggest that the mineralisation can be processed using conventional methods to produce saleable copper and nickel concentrates.
