What's Happening?
Starbucks is bringing back its popular S'mores Frappuccino for a limited time, marking its first appearance in six years. The decision to reintroduce the drink is driven by popular demand from both customers and baristas. The S'mores Frappuccino will
be available alongside new offerings such as the S'mores Cold Brew, Marshmallow Cold Foam, and Iced S'mores Chai. Starbucks Rewards members will have early access to these drinks starting June 30, with full availability beginning July 1. Additionally, Starbucks is launching new Blended Energy Refreshers on July 14, featuring flavors like Blended Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade and Blended Mango Strawberry Lemonade. These beverages are designed to offer a refreshing twist with bright fruit flavors blended with ice and real fruit pieces.
Why It's Important?
The reintroduction of the S'mores Frappuccino and the launch of new summer beverages highlight Starbucks' strategy to capitalize on seasonal demand and customer preferences. By bringing back a fan-favorite drink, Starbucks aims to boost customer engagement and drive sales during the summer months. The introduction of new Blended Energy Refreshers also reflects the company's efforts to diversify its menu and cater to evolving consumer tastes, particularly those seeking refreshing and energizing options. This move could strengthen Starbucks' competitive position in the beverage market, attracting both loyal customers and new patrons.
