Ken Howard, the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Concordia University Chicago (CUC), has been featured in infomercials for the popular home fitness programs P90X, P90X2, and P90X3. Howard's journey into the fitness industry began in 2008 after
he successfully lost 55 pounds, which motivated him to pursue a career in fitness and strength and conditioning. His personal weight loss transformation also led to him being recognized as a Beachbody Challenge Finalist and featured in prominent fitness publications such as Ironman Magazine, Muscle and Fitness, and Bodybuilding.com. At CUC, Howard, who joined in the fall of 2018, is responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising customized, sport-specific strength and conditioning protocols for the university's 20 intercollegiate programs. He also teaches courses in CUC's Exercise Science program and the online accelerated Kinesiology program, and conducts workshops for the Brookbush Institute of Human Movement Science.
