Formula E has inaugurated its first-ever karting attraction, Formula E Karting at SEVEN Abha, located in Saudi Arabia's Aseer Region. This indoor karting experience is part of Saudi Entertainment Ventures’ (SEVEN) new entertainment destination in Abha.
The facility features a 428-meter indoor track with adult, junior, and dual electric karts, designed to translate the championship's sustainable racing ethos into an interactive experience. Beyond the track, visitors can explore interactive displays detailing Formula E's history, drivers, teams, and technical innovations, alongside environmental messages emphasizing electric vehicle performance. This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to enhance the quality of life for citizens and residents and foster local motorsport talent. Abha is the first of four SEVEN entertainment destinations in Saudi Arabia to host a Formula E Karting attraction, with others planned for Riyadh (Al Hamra), Dammam, and Al Kharj. The launch precedes the 2026/27 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season opener in Jeddah, which will feature the debut of the revolutionary GEN4 car and the new 'E-PrixUnleashed' format.
