Zach LaVine, a two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion and current Sacramento Kings player, is set to arrive in Taiwan for a series of basketball and charity events. Scheduled to land at Taoyuan International Airport, LaVine will participate in the 2026
Taoyuan Pearl Coast Music Festival. His visit includes serving as a judge for a dunk contest featuring six Taiwanese dunkers, as well as a charity fan meeting. This marks the second consecutive summer an NBA star has been invited to Taiwan by the Taoyuan Taiwan Beer Leopards, following Karl-Anthony Towns' visit in 2025.
