Cameron Grant has been appointed as the Assistant Director for Media Relations at the University of Montevallo. In this role, Grant will be responsible for overseeing media relations for men's soccer, wrestling, softball, and acrobatics and tumbling.
His duties will encompass writing recaps, coordinating media coverage, managing website content, producing social media and creative content, and maintaining statistics and records for these sports. Prior to this appointment, Grant served as a Communications Intern at Auburn University and a Graduate Assistant at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM). At Auburn, he assisted with social media and game-day coverage for tennis programs and supported fall sports, including transcribing press conference coverage for Auburn football. During his tenure at AUM, Grant managed cross country and tennis programs, handling tasks such as writing recaps, website content management, broadcast production, social media content creation, and maintaining statistics. He also produced 'Warhawk of the Week' segments for student-athletes recognized by the Gulf South Conference.
