AgiBot, a Shanghai-based company, has overtaken its domestic competitor Unitree Robotics to become the world's largest humanoid robot vendor in the first half of 2026. According to a report by Smart Analytics Global, AgiBot captured 44% of the global
market by shipping approximately 8,400 humanoid robots from January to June. This marks a 562% year-on-year increase in shipments, driven by a diverse product lineup including full-size bipedal A-series models, compact X-series units, and wheeled G-series robots. Meanwhile, Unitree, based in Hangzhou, fell to second place with a 31% market share, shipping about 5,900 units. Unlike AgiBot, Unitree's shipments were concentrated in its flagship G1 model, primarily used in education, research, and performance sectors. Both companies are preparing for public listings, with Unitree planning an IPO on Shanghai's Star Market.
