Finger Lakes wineries have excelled at the 40th Annual New York Wine Classic, with Ryan William Vineyard winning the Governor’s Cup for its 2025 Pinot Blanc and Weis Vineyards being named Winery of the Year. The competition, organized by the New York Wine &
Grape Foundation, evaluated over 700 wines from more than 100 wineries. The awards were announced by Governor Kathy Hochul during a virtual event. This marks the third consecutive year that Weis Vineyards has received the Winery of the Year title, highlighting its consistent excellence in wine production.
