What's Happening?
Peterson Manufacturing has launched the Genesis Truck and Trailer Lights, designed to address the prevalent issue of partial LED failures in the trucking industry. Traditional LED lights often suffer from a single diode failure that can darken an entire
section of the lamp, posing safety and compliance risks. The Genesis lights feature a fail-safe architecture that ensures the lamp remains lit as long as the vehicle has power, thereby enhancing visibility and reducing the risk of roadside violations. These lights are available in Peterson's premium lighting lines, specifically the nine-diode round and 10-diode oval lamps, promising improved performance, reliability, and visibility for fleets.
Why It's Important?
The introduction of Genesis LED lights by Peterson Manufacturing is significant for the trucking industry as it addresses a common and costly problem of LED failures. By ensuring continuous illumination, these lights enhance road safety and compliance, reducing the likelihood of accidents and legal issues related to visibility. This innovation can lead to fewer service interruptions and maintenance costs for fleet operators, thereby improving operational efficiency. The enhanced reliability of these lights can also contribute to better fleet management and customer satisfaction, as deliveries are less likely to be delayed due to lighting issues.
