The Arcadia High School volleyball team, the Raiders, has continued a challenging start to their conference season, remaining winless in Coulee competition after four matches. The team recently suffered two straight-set losses. The first defeat was against
Viroqua, with scores of 25-14, 25-15, and 25-17. Key players in this match included senior Tatum Drazkowski with three kills and 14 digs, freshman Sophia Jereczek with nine digs and eight assists, and senior Layna Wozney contributing six digs and three total blocks. Following this, the Raiders faced Black River Falls at the Wanek Center, where they were again swept in straight sets: 25-21, 25-16, and 25-20. In the Black River Falls match, Drazkowski recorded eight kills and 13 digs, Wozney had seven kills and 15 digs, Jereczek added 11 digs and two aces, and freshman Lexus White served two aces. The team's overall record stands at 5-10.
