East Liverpool senior Chris Miller secured a fifth-place finish at the Malone Night Invitational cross country event. Miller completed the 3.1-mile course at Malone College in a season-best time of 16 minutes, 47.27 seconds. This achievement follows his second-place
finish at the Suburban League Cross Country Championships earlier in the week. He was among 143 boys runners in the Blue Division. The East Liverpool team is scheduled to compete next in the Columbiana County Meet in East Palestine.
