What's Happening?
Epic is advancing its enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform, EpicOps, to integrate healthcare operations beyond electronic health records. The platform aims to unify financial, operational, and clinical data, enhancing real-time visibility across
healthcare organizations. The first module, Teamwork, focuses on clinician and staff scheduling, offering real-time updates and integration with Epic's existing scheduling tools. This development is part of Epic's strategy to differentiate itself from global ERP competitors like Oracle and SAP by focusing exclusively on healthcare. Currently, five healthcare organizations have implemented Teamwork, with more in the process of adoption.

As Epic continues to develop its platform, it is expected to further integrate AI functionalities, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency in healthcare systems.
