Andrew Carr, a former Kentucky Wildcat basketball player, has signed a one-year contract with the Sydney Kings of the National Basketball League (NBL). Carr, who played during Mark Pope's debut season at Kentucky, is joining the reigning NBL champions.
Prior to this, Carr played for the Portland Trailblazers' G League affiliate, Rip City Remix, where he averaged 10.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. His college career included stints at Kentucky, Wake Forest, and Delaware, where he consistently averaged around 10.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Carr recently returned to Lexington during the G League All-Star break and was honored at a Kentucky game. Despite joking about returning to college basketball, Carr is now set to continue his career overseas.
