The Bentonville girls golf team, known as the Lady Tigers, secured first place at the First National Bank Invitational held at Ben Geren Golf Course in Fort Smith. They achieved a team score of 237, finishing 16 strokes ahead of Rogers Heritage, which
placed second with 253. Fayetteville came in third with 260. Individually, Solara Jiminian of Heritage earned medalist honors with a score of 76, while Bentonville's Madeleine Stokes and Grace Abbruzzese placed second and third with scores of 77 and 78, respectively. In the boys' division of the same tournament, the Fayetteville team continued their early season success by also taking first place with a score of 297. Fayetteville's Toby Kim led his team with an even par 72, and teammate Calvin Jackson shot 73. Fort Smith Northside's William Russell and Fayetteville's Nicholas Le tied for third with 74.
