What's Happening?
URZ3 Energy has expanded its uranium exploration footprint in Wyoming's Powder River Basin by acquiring additional mineral lands. The company secured three Wyoming state mineral leases and staked 437 unpatented mining claims, totaling approximately 4,411
hectares. This expansion strengthens URZ3's presence in an in situ recovery (ISR) uranium district, with some properties contiguous to its existing Dry Fork Project. The Powder River Basin is also home to the operating Nichols Ranch ISR uranium mine. URZ3 plans to conduct geological compilation, target generation, and field evaluations on the new properties.
