Porta Via, a California-based upscale bistro, is set to open its first Arizona location at Scottsdale Fashion Square early next year. Founded in Beverly Hills in 1994, Porta Via will replace Zinque, a restaurant that closed after six years in business.
The new establishment will join other luxury eateries in the mall's West Luxury Wing, including Ocean 44, Toca Madera, and Nobu. Porta Via's owner, Peter Garland, expressed his long-standing interest in Scottsdale, citing its status as a world-class destination. The restaurant will feature a menu of clean California cuisine, including dishes like ahi tuna tower, kale-and-quinoa salad, and Faroe Island salmon. The 6,300-square-foot space will be the largest Porta Via location to date, offering a warm terracotta and soft green color palette, a spacious dining room, a bar, and a patio.
