What's Happening?
Busch Light has announced the return of its limited-edition Farming Cans for the summer of 2026, featuring a patriotic design to honor American farmers and ranchers. These cans, which bear the U.S. Farmed seal, indicate that at least 95% of the ingredients
are sourced from U.S. farms. The initiative is part of Busch Light's ongoing commitment to support the agricultural community, with proceeds from the sale of these cans being donated to Farm Rescue, a nonprofit organization that aids farm and ranch families in crisis. From July 1 to September 1, 2026, Busch Light will donate $0.10 per case sold, up to $200,000, to Farm Rescue. This partnership, which began in 2019, has already raised over $1.5 million, providing critical aid to more than 1,300 families.
Why It's Important?
This initiative underscores the vital role that American farmers and ranchers play in the nation's economy and food supply chain. By sourcing nearly all of its ingredients from U.S. farms, Busch Light not only supports local agriculture but also promotes sustainability and self-reliance. The financial support provided to Farm Rescue helps ensure that family farms can continue operations during times of crisis, preserving livelihoods and maintaining the stability of rural communities. This effort also highlights the importance of consumer choices in supporting domestic agriculture, encouraging the public to 'Choose Beer Grown Here' and contribute to the economic well-being of American farmers.
What's Next?
Busch Light's commitment to American agriculture is set to continue with the debut of the 'ComBar,' a mobile bar constructed from a real combine harvester, which will tour the nation as a tribute to farmers. This initiative aims to further engage the public and raise awareness about the importance of supporting local agriculture. Additionally, Busch Light plans to maintain its partnership with Farm Rescue, ensuring ongoing support for farm and ranch families facing unexpected challenges. The company encourages affected families to apply for assistance through Farm Rescue, reinforcing its dedication to the agricultural community.
