Ben Samek has been officially appointed as the CEO of Banijay America, a newly combined entity formed after Banijay Entertainment's merger with All3Media. Samek will report to Jane Turton, the deputy chief executive officer of Banijay Entertainment. In
addition to this, Banijay Entertainment has launched Banijay Latin America, with Laurens Drillich serving as CEO, while Samek will continue to act as a board member and consultant for the group. Samek has been the CEO of Banijay Americas since February 2023, and prior to that, he held the position of president and chief operating officer of Banijay Americas since 2018. His leadership has been instrumental in expanding and diversifying Banijay America, particularly by adding a rapidly growing live, digital, and sports business to its existing television production capabilities. The merger aims to leverage the strengths of both companies to build enduring franchises and connect with audiences across various platforms.
