Collins Aerospace has successfully completed integrated lab testing for the Clean Aviation SWITCH project, led by MTU Aero Engines. The tests took place at The Grid, Collins' advanced electric power systems facility in Illinois. The project focuses on developing
hybrid-electric subsystems for future narrowbody aircraft, aiming to improve engine efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. The tested systems will now undergo further integration testing at Airbus laboratories.
