Four former players of the Los Angeles Kings—Marcel Dionne, Wayne Gretzky, Anze Kopitar, and Luc Robitaille—have been elected to the NHL wing of the L.A. Times Sports Hall of Fame. The selection process involved a ballot for the Kings/Ducks category,
where 20 names were listed, and voters could select up to 10 candidates. To be elected, a candidate needed to receive at least 75% of the votes. A total of 4,183 ballots were cast, and the four players surpassed the required threshold. This recognition highlights their significant contributions to the team and the sport during their careers.
