What's Happening?
Boise Entrepreneur Week is currently accepting applications for its two pitch competitions, with a deadline set for July 6. The annual event, scheduled to take place from September 28 to October 2 at Jack’s Urban Meeting Place in downtown Boise, is organized
by Trailhead, a nonprofit entrepreneurial hub. The Main Pitch Competition is open to Idaho startups from any industry and offers a prize package totaling $50,000 in cash and sponsor prizes. Additionally, the Trailmix Pitch Competition focuses on emerging consumer packaged goods and food and beverage brands. To qualify, businesses must be registered in Idaho, have less than $1 million in annual recurring revenue, and have raised less than $1 million in capital. Past winners are not eligible to re-enter the same competition. All finalists will receive mentorship, pitch coaching, and exposure within Idaho’s startup community. Last year, the event attracted over 1,300 attendees and awarded $131,500 in non-dilutive capital to Idaho startups.
