Jacob Welsko, a 23-year-old filmmaker from Lehigh Valley, has completed filming a television pilot titled 'Da Capo' in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The pilot, which was shot on a modest budget of $2,000, features a young indie rock band searching for a new
member just days before a significant gig. Welsko, who studied at Northampton Community College and Kutztown University, aims to challenge stereotypes about his generation by highlighting their hard work and creativity. The project involved over 50 local cast and crew members and was filmed at various locations in Bethlehem, including Railroad Records and DeSales University. Welsko plans to release the pilot in segments on YouTube and social media while pitching it to major studios.
