What's Happening?
Energy Vault has commenced construction of a new AI infrastructure campus in Snyder, Texas, for Crusoe Cloud. This development, known as 'Snyder AI,' marks the first phase of Energy Vault's strategy to support AI and high-performance computing infrastructure.
The initial phase will provide 8 MW of powered shell capacity, with plans to expand to 25 MW. The project involves the installation of fiber, power infrastructure, and modular data centers, designed for rapid deployment. Energy Vault's collaboration with Crusoe aims to address deployment bottlenecks such as land availability and power access.
