Yonni Rude has been appointed as the Operations Manager for Urban One's Dallas-Fort Worth radio cluster. In this new role, Rude will oversee programming for three stations: Urban KBFB (97.9 The Beat), Urban KKDA (K104), and Urban AC KRNB (Smooth 105.7).
Prior to this transfer, Rude served for three years as Program Director for Urban One Houston, managing Hip Hop KBXX (97.9 The Box), Urban AC KMJQ (Majic 102.1), and Urban Gospel Praise 102.1 (KMJQ-HD2). His extensive career with Radio One began in October 2016, where he previously held positions as Operations Manager for the company's Cleveland and Richmond groups. Before joining Radio One, Rude spent 16 years in the Charleston, SC market, including a tenure as Program Director and afternoon host for Cumulus Top 40 WSSX (95SX).
