What's Happening?
Thesis Gold & Silver has initiated a 20,000-meter drilling campaign at its Lawyers-Ranch project in British Columbia's Toodoggone mining district. The program includes 12,000 meters of exploration drilling and 8,000 meters of technical drilling. The campaign aims
to complete a Feasibility Study by the end of 2027, expand high-grade mineralization, and advance district-scale porphyry targets. The project builds on a Prefeasibility Study from December 2025, which outlined a combined open-pit and underground operation with a 15-year mine life. The study reported an after-tax net present value of $2.37 billion and an internal rate of return of 54.4%.
Why It's Important?
The Lawyers-Ranch project is a significant development in the precious metals sector, with potential economic benefits from expanding high-grade gold mineralization. The project's success could enhance the company's market position and contribute to the local economy through job creation and infrastructure development. The positive Prefeasibility Study results indicate strong financial prospects, which could attract further investment and support the project's advancement. The drilling campaign's outcomes will be crucial for determining the project's feasibility and long-term viability, impacting stakeholders, including investors and local communities.
What's Next?
Thesis Gold & Silver will focus on completing the drilling program, with results expected to inform the Feasibility Study. The company plans to expand known mineralized zones and evaluate deeper porphyry targets. Technical drilling will provide data for mine design, pit-slope optimization, and process plant design. An environmental assessment decision is targeted for early 2029. The company will continue to engage with stakeholders and provide updates as the project progresses, with the aim of advancing towards production and realizing the project's full potential.
