The Grumbling Gryphons Traveling Children’s Theater, led by Leslie Elias, is set to host its annual theater arts camp for children aged 6 to 14. The camp, which has been a staple for 46 years, will run from July 27 to July 31, culminating in a live performance
of 'The Adventures of Pinocchio,' an original adaptation by Elias. The camp offers a comprehensive experience in acting, singing, mask-making, costume-making, and scenery painting. Elias, who co-founded the nonprofit in 1980, emphasizes the importance of storytelling and teamwork in the arts. The camp will feature professional actors, musicians, and visual artists, with Elias directing the performance alongside her son, Daniel Saed.
