Xsolis, a healthcare AI and utilization management technology company, has launched its GenAI Peer-to-Peer Clinical Synopsis solution. This new generative AI capability is designed to assist hospital physician advisors in preparing for peer-to-peer denial
reviews with health plan medical directors. The solution, embedded as an add-on feature within Xsolis’ Dragonfly Advise® platform, automatically ingests longitudinal electronic medical records (EMR) when a payer issues a denial. It scans various data points, including laboratory values, vital sign trajectories, active medication orders, bedside nursing notes, and multidisciplinary progress records. From this raw data, the software generates a structured, day-by-day clinical synopsis that highlights severity indicators, provides medical necessity rationale, and prepares a concise case overview for discussion. This aims to streamline the review process, which typically has a critical 24- to 72-hour regulatory and commercial window.
