Carlo Gavazzi, a multinational electronics group, has announced the expansion of its RSBS Series of soft starters to include certifications for use with flammable refrigerants. These certifications comply with UL 60335-2-40 and 60335-2-89 safety standards,
which are essential for electrical heat pumps, air conditioners, and commercial refrigerating appliances. The RSBS series is designed for OEMs and system integrators, offering a reliable solution for single-phase compressors up to 32 Amps. The updated series supports the increasing adoption of A2L refrigerants, providing a compact and compliant solution without requiring redesign or requalification.
