What's Happening?
The Baltimore Ravens, in collaboration with Under Armour, have awarded grants to 24 nonprofit programs across Maryland to support youth sports. This initiative, part of the Ravens Foundation, Inc., aims to provide new sports apparel and equipment to over
4,200 young athletes from more than 300 youth football teams and other sports programs. The grants cover a wide range of items, including jerseys, cleats, sports bras, Guardian Caps, field equipment, and emergency response accessories. On August 5, the Ravens will host approximately 2,500 participants from these programs at their training camp to distribute the new gear. The initiative, now in its 16th year, serves as a crucial link between the Ravens and local youth sports, promoting healthy development and engagement in sports. Additionally, the Ravens offer CPR and AED training to ensure the safety and preparedness of the programs receiving emergency response equipment.
