STMicroelectronics, a global independent semiconductor company, has released its new ST25R210 universal NFC reader. This product is now available through Mouser Electronics, a leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor. The ST25R210 is engineered
to deliver high performance in applications where cost is a significant factor. Key features include 1.6 W output power, enhanced low-power card detection (LPCD), and high receiver sensitivity. The device is Aliro-ready and suitable for various NFC applications, such as wireless kitchen appliances, WPC Qi out-of-band (OOB) communication, card protection, and FeliCa readers/writers. The NFC reader also boasts an excellent read range and improved LPCD, which extends the detection range in inductive wake-up mode.
