What's Happening?
Selena Gomez, Christina Aguilera, and other celebrities have been named as founding honorary host committee members of the Olympics-inspired Legacy House in Los Angeles. This initiative, led by Greg Propper, aims to leverage the momentum of the LA28 Olympics to create
lasting cultural and civic impact. The Legacy House will host events and discussions exploring the intersection of sports, culture, and philanthropy. It will operate as a non-profit and is fiscally sponsored by the Social Impact Fund.
Why It's Important?
The Legacy House represents a significant effort to use the platform of the Olympics to foster cultural and social change. By involving high-profile figures from various industries, the initiative aims to draw attention to important social issues and encourage community engagement. This could lead to increased philanthropic efforts and partnerships that benefit Los Angeles and beyond.
