What's Happening?
Joliet West High School is set to host its annual Black & Gold Night on August 14 at Klootwyk Stadium. The event, which aims to engage the community and showcase student talent, will feature a variety of activities including sports scrimmages, skills
competitions, and performances by the school's band, cheer, and dance teams. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with admission priced at $5 for adults and $2 for students. Season passes are accepted and available for purchase. The evening will include a varsity boys soccer scrimmage, girls tennis introduction, girls volleyball skills challenge, and a varsity football scrimmage, among other events. The event is designed to foster school spirit and community involvement.
