process in an interview with WKNC 88.1. Initially, Cliff's solo project leaned heavily into metalcore and post-hardcore, drawing inspiration from bands like Dayseeker and Holding Absence. However, with the full band, their sound has evolved to incorporate more aggressive, grungy elements and layered, atmospheric rock riffs, aiming for a distinctive and textured sound. They emphasize creating good songs rather than strictly adhering to a genre, often sharing their weekly musical discoveries during writing sessions to foster a unique blend of post-hardcore, grunge, and early metalcore.
