The organizers of the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb have announced the date for the 105th running of the event, set for Sunday, June 27, 2027. Known as the 'Race to the Clouds,' this prestigious motorsport event will commence with a week
of activities starting with a Tech Inspection on June 21, followed by practice and qualifying sessions from June 22 to June 25. The Fan Fest, a popular gathering for fans, will take place in downtown Colorado Springs on June 25. The 2026 race saw France's Romain Dumas secure his sixth victory with an 8:18.202 run in an all-electric Ford Super Mustang Mach-E, narrowly defeating the UK's Robin Shute and Italy's Simone Faggioli. Dumas's time was 21 seconds shy of his 2018 record of 7:57.148, set in a Volkswagen I.D. R.
