Beautyspace has introduced a new retail concept called 'Little Luxuries' with its first outpost opening in New York's Union Square. This 1,000-square-foot store is dedicated to selling miniature versions of prestige beauty products from over 100 brands,
including Olaplex, Oribe, and 111Skin. The concept aims to elevate mini products from a supporting role to a significant revenue driver in the beauty industry. Prices for these mini items range from $4 for sheet masks to $200 for a miniature facial plasma. Noah Rosenblatt, president of Beautyspace, stated that the market indicated minis were becoming a category of their own. The store organizes products by category and subcategory rather than by brand, such as a haircare wall divided into shampoos, conditioners, mists, and oils. Beautyspace plans to expand this concept, with two more New York locations potentially opening early next year, and a goal of establishing five stores in New York within 12 to 18 months before a national rollout.
