He previously spent the first seven years of his legal career with McAfee & Taft before transitioning to senior legal and compliance roles in various Oklahoma-based organizations. These roles included serving as general counsel and chief compliance officer for an SEC-registered investment advisor, general counsel and chief compliance officer for an investment company focused on acquiring and developing institutional-quality real estate across the United States, and chief counsel for organizational growth and acquisitions for a multi-site megachurch.
