API International, based in Tualatin, Oregon, has launched a new product line called 'CleanLine,' which consists of NSF-certified stainless steel products designed for drinking-water and clean-water applications. This expansion broadens API International's
offerings in waterworks and sanitary process sectors, specifically targeting projects that require NSF-certified components. The CleanLine products have received certification to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 for drinking-water system health effects and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 for lead-content requirements. The initial release of this line includes flanges manufactured to AWWA C228, ASME B16.5, and ASME B16.47 Series A and Series B standards. These flanges are available in slip-on, blind, and weld-neck configurations, with options for both raised-face and flat-face designs. The products are offered in dual-grade 304/304L and 316/316L stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance and durability, with the 316/316L grade being particularly suitable for systems exposed to higher chloride levels or more corrosive water conditions.
