The Illinois State Fair has expanded its culinary offerings with the introduction of 18 new food vendors this year. Among the new additions are Erma’s Cinnamon Rolls, Tikka Street, and Ben’s Soft Pretzels, each bringing unique flavors to the fairgrounds.
The fair, which spans 366 acres, now hosts a total of 120 food vendors. The new vendors offer a variety of dishes, including Indian cuisine, soft pretzels, and cinnamon rolls. The fair also features the Golden Abe Awards, a competition where 15 of the new vendors will compete for the title of best and most unique state fair food. Additionally, the fair offers deals such as $5 featured items and $3 trial plates, allowing visitors to sample smaller portions before committing to a full meal.
