Ravi Bapna has been named the new dean of Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business, effective September 1, 2026. Provost and Executive Vice President James M. Glaser announced the appointment, highlighting Bapna's distinguished background as a scholar,

Bapna joins Santa Clara from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, where he held the Curtis L. Carlson Chair in Business Analytics and Information Systems, served as associate dean for executive education, and was the academic director of both the Carlson Analytics Lab and the Analytics for Good Institute. In his new role, Bapna will oversee all undergraduate, graduate, and executive education programs, faculty, and research institutes, guiding the school's strategic direction and enhancing its visibility and philanthropic engagement within Silicon Valley and global markets.
