The University of Texas at Arlington's men's golf team has announced the signing of Sawyer Chamblee. Chamblee, who began his collegiate career with the Liberty Flames, did not compete in any tournaments during the 2024-25 season and took a gap year in 2025-26.
During his high school years at Ridgecroft School in Ahoskie, Chamblee was a multi-sport athlete, participating in soccer, basketball, and golf. He was instrumental in leading his school to an NCISAA Division 1A Golf State Championship in 2022 and a runner-up finish in 2021.
