What's Happening?
ACDC Metals has identified several new drilling targets at its Mount Jackson Gold-Silver Project in Nevada, following an aeromagnetic survey. The survey revealed three key target zones: Pegasus, 3 Shaft, and Sinter, where magnetic features align with
known mineralization of gold, silver, and copper. At Pegasus, the survey indicated potential extensions of epithermal-style gold-silver mineralization, which remains open along strike and at depth. The Sinter area showed a quieter magnetic signature, while the 3 Shaft area revealed a north-south magnetic high coinciding with gold anomalies. ACDC plans to conduct an induced polarization survey to further explore these targets and is preparing for a reverse circulation drilling program.
Why It's Important?
The identification of new drilling targets at the Mount Jackson Project is significant for ACDC Metals as it could potentially expand the scale of mineralization, enhancing the project's value. This development is crucial for the company’s growth strategy in the competitive mining sector. The findings could lead to increased resource estimates, attracting more investment and potentially boosting the local economy through job creation and increased mining activity. The project’s success could also contribute to the U.S. mining industry by increasing domestic production of precious metals, reducing reliance on imports.
What's Next?
ACDC Metals plans to progress with geophysical and drilling permits in the third quarter of 2026, followed by further surveys and target ranking. The company aims to commence maiden drilling in the fourth quarter. The results of the induced polarization survey will guide the drilling strategy, potentially leading to significant discoveries. Stakeholders, including investors and local communities, will be closely monitoring these developments, as successful drilling could lead to increased economic activity and job opportunities in the region.
